Latino Review reports that Kate Beckinsale is joining Mark Wahlberg in the thriller Contraband, which was previously titled "Reykjavik-Rotterdam."
A remake of an Icelandic thriller, the movie centers on a security guard and former alcohol smuggler on the Iceland-Netherlands route who is tempted back into illicit business by a dubious friend after encountering financial problems.
Baltasar Kormakur, who starred in and produced the 2008 original, will direct for Working Title.
Aaron Guzikowski is writing the script.
